Overview

Cardio vascular complications during pregnancy and post partum mothers claim over 500,000 mothers a year. These mothers come from every country (developed and developing), and from every race. While maternal health has improved drastically over the last 100 years, it has stagnated since the early 1980’s. It is difficult to think of another medical condition where detection and/or treatment has not drastically improved since 1980, yet not a single research platform dedicated to cardio vascular health during pregnancy and post partum existed before the founding of Sabrina’s Foundation.
